Im going to take a break from researching this week, and just give everyone an update on our home life! Where to start??
Zoey:
She’s as feisty as ever. I know Zoey is going to be “miss bossy pants.” The other day we had some friends over for dinner, and their boys were ruff housing, and she started yelling at them. Yes, legitimately yelling. It was absolutely hilarious. She also yells at Papa when he isn’t paying attention to her…Zoey is going to give us a run for our money that’s for sure. She sits up like pro, and rarely falls over anymore. Everyone calls her Bright Eyes, even though her Grampie gave her that nickname. She has the most expressive eyes I’ve ever seen a baby have, and these long blinks when she looks at someone. Her favorite foods these days are carrots, sweet potatoes, soft boiled egg yolk (she can easily eat 3!), and pears. Every time I sit her in her high chair, she screams, then sees me go to the fridge and pull out her food, and she gets super excited and stops crying. She also LOVES playing with her cousin Connor, they take each other’s pacifiers and pull each others hair :D. Overall, she is a super happy baby, but still a pain when it comes to sleeping. Pray for us 🙂

Luis:
Luis is doing great! His job is going well. Next month he will be starting at the Airport, and will be working CRAZY hours, but I know he will be awesome! He made a sourdough starter a few weeks back, and it’s sooo good (even though we shouldn’t be eating it because it’s not GF)!
Me:
I’m doing pretty well, considering Zoey waking me up every 2.5 hours at night! Im thinking about going back to school. I want to study more in depth about nutrition and food science, just to make me more legit. Haha. Still praying about it, and we would have to get enough scholarships/aid in order for me to go. I am not sure if I’ll go for a 2nd Bachelors or for my Master’s, either way, I have a lot to do! I also am the new Administrator at our church, so that’s exciting! I’m also going to be doing a sugar detox after Thanksgiving, gotta kick my habit! Luis and I arestarting the Paleo diet (even though we basically eat that way, we’ll just be more strict). Hopefully it helps my headache’s and help me lose those final 15 lbs, and to help Luis! Im making my sauerkraut, should be done in about 2 weeks, and my kombucha mushroom is finally big enough to brew a gallon at a time! 😀
We’re headed to California next Wednesday to spend Thanksgiving with Luis’ family, they finally get to meet Zoey!! We’re super excited (though a little nervous to fly with Z). Luis and I haven’t seen his family in almost a year, and even that was only for one day. So we are excited to spend 5 days down there!
So there’s a quick update! till next time!
