Roasted chicken is a staple in our house. There is nothing so simple, delicious and inexpensive as a whole roasted chicken. It’s a one-pot dish that feeds you for days. Not to mention, nothing goes to waste if you make use of the bones and gizzards to make bone broth.
Here’s a tip for meal planning, roast a chicken on Monday or Tuesday. Start the bone broth in the crock pot that night and once it’s finished bottle it up and make soup on the weekend! If you need help with meal planning, get my free tools here.
For some reason, people are intimidated by roasting a whole chicken. I’m not sure why, it’s very simple.
