Writer’s Block.

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve written anything. Quite frankly, when I finished my master’s degree I zonked out. I’m sure it had nothing to do with the fact we had just gone through a really rough 2 years financially, gotten my master’s degree…. while working full time. Gestating a human. Birthing a human. And Nursing a human. Then I graduated and began gestating another human!! Yes, we added our third child on October 9th, 2019. His name is Nathaniel Augustine and he’s perfect.

I’m coming out of these last three years with so many thoughts in my head, not enough quiet time to think them through, and feeling like I have writer’s block. Steven Pressfield doesn’t believe in writer’s block, just lack of discipline. I have to agree. I have a lot of words floating in my head to write. It’s not that the words won’t come, it’s that I need to commit. So I made a goal to write two blog posts a month. I might end up with more, but for now, we’ll start at two. They’ll be about any-the-heck-thing I want because this is my little nook on the interwebs.

It’s not going to be perfect. But life isn’t perfect, so my writing doesn’t need to be either. I lost all my designs so my page is less than cute, but that’s fine too. No one says I have to have it figured out. Join me in my ramblings. I’d love to hear what you’ve been up to.

Much love,

Lizz
