Life Giving Products

It’s always hard figuring out what to buy. Especially when you are trying to be more conscious of your purchases but don’t want to waste money. I can help take some of the guess work out and can recommend my favorites to you. 🙂

For the Kitchen:

  • A quality knife set. Not enough can be said about a good knife set. Just invest-you won’t regret it. I have these.
  • Food Processor, the biggest possible. If you have to get anything-it’s this. It will shave hours off each week of food prep. I have this one.
  • Stand Mixer. It will make your baking endeavors easy-peasy. I have this one.
  • Crock-Pot, essential for busy families and bone broth. I have this one.
  • Cast Iron Skillet. I have several kinds and use everyone. Get what you will use. I like these ones.
  • Juicer. This is a luxury in our kitchen. We don’t juice everyday, but you can use it for so many things. It makes truly RAW nut butters, you can grind spices and coffee in it. If you want a juicer, I only recommend a masticating juicer; like the one I have.

For the Home:

  • A Budget. We use YNAB.
  • Non-Toxic Cleaners, Laundry Soap, and Dish Soap. I typically use Method or Seventh Generation. Find your favorite, or make your own!
  • Salt Lamp. Creates a luxurious mood, and cleans the air by releasing negative ions. I have this one.
  • Essential Oils and Diffuser. My friend Carly can help you out, or I like Native American Nutritionals.

For the Body:

  • Minimilist Shoes. If you want to learn why, read the book Born To Run. Life changing. I have these ones.
  • Squatty Potty. Poo the natural way, your tummy will thank you for it.
  • Good Toothpaste. You can make your own, or get this kind.
  • Good Deodorant. I make my own, because nothing works quite like it. Recipe is HERE.
  • Dry Brush. I have one similar to this one.
  • Fermented Cod Liver Oil. This is the gold. This one is the most palatable- but shop around for the best price.
  • Good Probiotics. This is a contreversial topic, so my best advice is to find what works for you. My favorite and what works for me is Garden of Life.
  • Magnesium Oil. I buy these and make my own. Equal parts water and flakes melted together. I put it in this bottle and spray it on before bed.
  • Natural Calm. This stuff here is delicious. This has helped with my sleep and my anxiety, it’s “magic”.

For the Baby:

  • Moby Wrap. This is a must have! I wore Zoey all day, every day for the first 4 months. The Moby is by far the most comfortable front wrap. Downside to this wrap is it has a limited use.
  • Ellaroo Wrap. If you only want to invest in one wrap get this one. It is THE MOST comfortable way to wear a baby on you’re back. It takes some practice, but so worth it. You can wear the baby front, back, side, sling, pretty much any safe way it works.
  • Amber Teething Necklace. Just do it- and don’t take it off.
  • My favorite cloth diapers are G-Diapers
